Fayth Ann Logan died Wednesday, July 5, her obituary says. She was 48.

Born in Belleville, Fayth spent time in Middlesex before settling in Somerville. She worked as a server at Social with past experience at the Sunset and Time to Eat Diners.

More than $2,100 had been raised on a GoFundMe launched for the family’s expenses.

“We are shocked and [saddened] by this unexpected news we received yesterday and unfortunately with little funds ourselves are asking for help,” writes campaign organizer Kristin Ozemko.

“Fayth leaves behind two children ages 19 and 17 they can not [bear] the responsibility of something like this.”

Tributes and condolences quickly hit social media as well:

In addition to her children, Fayth leaves behind two brothers, Jason and Danny Logan; a granddaughter, Rose Villalobos; and many extended relatives and close friends.

Fayth’s memorial was held Wednesday, July 12 at the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home in Somerville.

“If you knew Fayth you knew that she really had a huge heart and meant well and always the best for everyone,” Ozemko writes.
